A Voice

A voice..
resonating through the air
tolerating in reverberations and echoes
vibrating at any different levels
then stored in our memories

A voice shall..
give birth to the tone and rhythm
put pressure on the language
sometimes high, sometimes low
sometimes mediocre

A voice ought to..
be allowed independent
be given a space to spoken
not to deliberately silenced
or forced acceptance

because a voice..
is an endowment
our right as a human
as well as a mandate
which should be used in its place

but a voice..
manipulated from many route
became propaganda's discourse
even used as a weapon
to take advantage of the situation

Your poem holds a lot of truth. You've chosen a good theme, held to your train of thought and delivers well. (Report) Reply

Our thoughts articulated through voice carry a lot of weight.... It is our right to voice our opinions without fear or favour... Keeping silence on vital issues can be suicidal...! A very powerful write! (Report) Reply

yea I agree there is too much voicelessness and subjugation that leads to unfairness in this world people should be aloud their voice
    A voice ought to..

Where words are often the most powerful of tools, using one's voice, speaking the truth of your soul, is indeed a gift, a right and a great responsibility....choose to voice your heart in the most eloquently honest fashion. A strong piece of writing. I applaud you. PEACE (Report) Reply

From various angles voice been analysed logically. Logic takes it shape by the words to clarify an object. Poet has defined well. Such style of writing needs much attention like a research-scholar I think. Last two lines are very much solid to accept the challenge of throwing it to the target. Thank you. (Report) Reply

An eloquent write about VOICE. Voice actually represent our feelings infact us. The poet is correct to say that voice is an endowment as voice is a power to establish our own identity. However voices can be manipulated to one's advantage too e.g. in elections etc. A wonderful write. (Report) Reply

Our voice represents what is in our heart and mind. It also has power to sway, so it should be used wisely. Love the poem, very insightful! (Report) Reply

A voice without language, is sound without a comprehending ear.
Crossing a barrier too deliver your message.
    A calling to come hear.
    What if they don't understand?
    Useless the syllables become.
A motionless echo upon the mountains.
Can anyone breach this divide without the proper language to coincide.

Good poem, though understanding the voice is just as if not more important. (Report) Reply

amazingly written how much our voice means.....and we can use it as our weapon also by talking politely but some misuse of this....i liked it great work (Report) Reply

Our voice is an important tool for our personal, public and private use.
We can either make to to be heard softly or loudly. Do harm or good. Yes
there is power in the voice. Try to use it wisely and constructively. Very
    inspiring. (Report) Reply

Just Home and Love! the words are small
Four little letters unto each;
And yet you will not find in all
The wide and gracious range of speech
Two more so tenderly complete:
