Y.. The girl

The girl is wearing a head scarf
She is also wearing trousers

Condemned by Westerners for wearing the scarf
Condemned by Muslims for wearing trousers

The girl is
not condemning others...

Ah, how well you captured an enigmatic paradox. Let me suggest mine - Of Dandelions and Tears –

Short but powerful, deep meaning...life would be so much easier without judgment.

Lovley write, the girl wearing scarf and trousers captured by a poetic mind here and whatever it may be, but a peaceful end line... I like this one, , , , (Report) Reply

Marvelous! Your nib is really several, poetic and golden.
'Nibs of an ink essays alike' who would take?
A poet has his will but readers would have their way. Forget about the lazy-pacing comprehension but be backed by the conceptions apace.
Well, coming to this piece, 'beauty as said, in the eyes of the beholder, makes' 'every climature and vesture' 'one man's food is...'
Keep the ballpoint scribing, Oh Poet! (Report) Reply

I agree so much with the point you are making - except, please do not fall into the trap of condeming people by general labeling.

I think it is true to say that the majority of Westerners do not actually condemn the wearing of scarves. Also, many Westerners are Muslims. By the same token, many Muslims do not condemn the wearing of trousers.

In no way am I saying that you are being racist, but, this general attaching of perceived traits is how racism and discrimination starts....... (Report) Reply

Only in sleep I see their faces,
Children I played with when I was a child,
Louise comes back with her brown hair braided,
Annie with ringlets warm and wild.
