she hadda summa luvva.....
'cum laude....cum laude'...
...............................
'but the dogs'll start to howl......
and your sister's down the hall...
and the widow 'cross the way
has no one with whom to play'.......! !
'shall we go out on the lawn....
hide behind the plaster fawn...
toes a-curl, like a prawn......
as we frolic 'til the dawn'.........? ?
ah, the lovely rhythms swellin'..
(even though there was no yellin'.....)
so sweet it is, now, in the tellin',
that her knees still go a-jellin'
well, there is no plaster fawn.......
.... I have taken bits of license....
yet the memories live on....
....warm sweet scents, rich fragrant spicense....
the next time they are together,
......h'mmmm, perhaps in fields of heather,
(they are writing, with a plan.....)
how she loves that fine dear man......! !
...he is her only morning star....
she feels him, close.....so near.....so far...........
She's filled with joy each time he breathes....
....and wears her heart on both her sleeves....
