A Hint At What Is Beautiful? - Poem by yoonoos peerbocus

Beautiful is the 'thank you'
Wrapped with gratitude,
Offered to peace prone people
Who go out of their way
To nurse shrapnel scalded victims

Amidst napalm drugged air,
Carrying their humanity, quietly
And humbly, in our
Blood stained, greed diseased,
Hate eaten world.

Beautiful is the moment
when sunlit world fades away
And with it mind made mirror
While look inward drawn, sight insight led,
Consciousness expands endlessly.

It is a good slant on what beauty is about. Good thoughts and descriptions that makes the reader think. I have written war poems in the past and beauty on the battle field is what a wounder soldier see in whoever comes to help him. (Report) Reply

A nice definition of what is beautiful. The world of TV says beauty is about 'looks' 'skin deep but this poem says beauty is about the giving and loving heart. A correct definition. (Report) Reply

    Beautiful is this master piece
    With anew definiton of beauty
    Yet forgotten and ignored mostly
In walk of robotic life of modern
Hatts off! Hatts off! (Report) Reply
