Shall I Compare Akhtar To A Ball Of String? ... [a Tribute To My Ph Friend, Akhtar Jawad; Short] Poem by Bri Edwards

Shall I Compare Akhtar To A Ball Of String? ... [a Tribute To My Ph Friend, Akhtar Jawad; Short]

Rating: 5.0

If I compare Akhtar to a mere ball of string....,
what fine visions would it, to me, then bring?
A well-rounded fellow to be sure...; it's true!
He's one who gives and gives to me and you...,
and to his relatives and neighbors I am sure.

His 'string' (of accomplishments) I'll bet is pure!

Yes, Akhtarji is a string coiled round and if straightened will touch the moon, as Loke has observed! Bri is teacher to him...... so is to me!

Bri Edwards is my teacher. I have learnt a lot from him. English is not my language, he always pointed out my errors of English and i always welcomed his suggestions. So many times I edited and corrected my lines as suggested by this great teacher. I shall ever remain grateful to Bri Edwards. Thanks, Dear Teacher, a gratitude from a Teacher, for a student, is beauty, and a thing of beauty is a joy for ever.

He looks like a slim distinguished gentleman, his 'string' if joined will reach the moon and back. Thank you sir.
