Waterfall Poem by Valerie Dohren

Waterfall

Rating: 4.3

Raging, crashing torrents
splashing over rocks,
bubbling, foaming,
gushing down into the ravine
spurting upwards

Water spraying into the air -

- turning to tears trickling down cheeks
face melting - drowning.

I was up and then brought crashing down by this poem Val, good work though.

A fine write in surrealism form (visually) set down by the latter section.. Your words create flamboyant strong movements of water, falling to a trickle of pain.. Bravo.. Karen

From this fine piece it is easy to see the age old comparison betweens sadness and tears and waterfalls. A succinct poem with delicate emotions and raging landscapes.

Waterfalls do tend to ellicit powerful yet melancholic emotions. You captured that feeling in this poem.
