The Apology Letter - Poem by Abdullah Bashir

She stood up like a champ,
and looked into the eyes of the Coast Guard with pure anti-fear spirit,
It was true,
They had given her the 'Veteran Girl' moniker,
She was living up greatly while having the burden of wielding that moniker,
For one, she was a beautiful girl,
A very beautiful girl indeed,
But that did not apply to Calvin,
She loved Calvin superbly,
but she had committed a foul that had seperated her from Calvin,
A foul that wouldn't be granted justice thru the use of tongue,
There, she went to the Seaside,
As the seabreeze struck her face,
The urge to witness Calvin by her eyes had grown magically,
But her attempt to see Calvin was eliminated by the man in orange,
And there, she encountered the Coast Guard,
She shouted at the guard,
'Just give this damn letter to Calvin Fonte',
The guard gave a facial signal that would translate to 'Alright',
And after mild days of waiting,
She was lying comfortably numb on her bed, lost in the daydreaming about Calvin as usual,
and she heard the housebell ring,
She rushed towards the door with supreme expectations,
She touched the doorknob and pushed it towards with feeling of nothingness,
and there stood Calvin,
He stepped closer,
with each step,
She had the butterflies in her stomach dancing on top of eachother,
Calvin grabbed her by the waist,
and whispered positively in her pale ears,
'Apology accepted'.

Thereis beauty in forgiveness. A stellar story! I could use some apologies from someone named Clyde. ~.~ (Report) Reply
