Good, Better, Best

I think of the ugly side of life
as beauty beyond our comprehension
I think men are who they say they are
as naïve as native women
I'm not comfortable being good
I deserve the best things of life
We are acquitted to good things
So much that we fear to see the best
I choose to be the best
Because I'm as good as the best

The choice we make have a price tag
The choice we refuse to make have consequences

Your eyes smile peace. The pasture gleams and glooms
