The blue tailed bird
Picks up its last worm
As in the falling light of the evening
The boughs begin to shed long shadows
The trees bow before
The setting sun as dew drops
Begin to fall on green grasses and
Silence reigns across plains and meadows
Anil, Do I count FOUR alliterations in these lines? ? ? These: 'The trees bow before The setting sun as dew drops Begin to fall on green grasses and' Yes! 4 of them. : ) But....
Loveliest worded in this farewell to the day poem, amazingly presented, beautiful poem.TFS
I give Anil's poem ***** five stars BECAUSE he left comment(s) on one of mine, & his is well-written, and I like the Nature nature of the poem. : ) bri
(cont.) .....I THINK 'dew drops' do NOT 'fall' on plants, but, instead form when moisture(water) in the surrounding air condenses on the plant surfaces. ;)
