Falling Apart Like A Leper

Out of all the seasons...
Winter describes me the best...
I am cold, frozen and dead...
Unable to feel a thing

You read the note over and over again...
With teary eyes reflecting the apoligy...
Written with last bit of sincerity...
That was left in my body

Out of all the seasons...
You are the summer...
The merciless sun burning the barren land...
I am the dead crop unable to grow...
And fall into you...
I wither, so you watch me fall apart like a leper...
Never hurting anyone again with my rotten touch.

I just discovered your poems, and I must say, I really like your style of writing. I love the way you express what you're feeling. It is dark, but so realistic, and cathartic. (Report) Reply

Beholding me that all the pageants play,
Disguysing diversly my troubled wits.
