A Place In My Heart - Poem by Jayne Davies

Longing to hear your voice for a moment,
Yearning to hear you laugh once more,
Feeling my tears will erupt like a fountain,
Nursing a heart that is broken and sore.
Hoping one day that we'll meet up in Heaven,
Share precious words with a hug and a kiss,
Holding you close with your memory forever,
Never forgetting the one that I miss.

Very well spoken grief set in a poem. I can feel the sadness of your memory. RoseAnn (Report) Reply
