You Going To Love Me

I hang around
Hoping you would notice me
Hoping you would see me
I hang around
Cause I loved you
And had hope that you would see that
And that you would stop taking me for granted
I hang around
Hoping you would realize
That I just didn’t want to give you pleasure for a season
But that I wanted to add value to your life
I hang around hoping
You would see that
I was the woman you could trust with your heart
Hoping you would see that I was the woman you can build a life with
I hang around
So that I could be the first one to lift you up when you fall
I hand around
so that I could be the first one to say “ everything will be ok”
when everything seems to be going wrong
I hang around
To show you that I was available 27-7,365
But you never took notice
I was visible
But to you I was invisible
I hang around hoping
Just hoping one day you would see
How much you meant to me

poet William Butler Yeats

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
