Why Does Time Take Forever to See You, but Never Forever when I Am with You

Why does time take forever to see you, but never forever when I am with you.

Monday is the toughest day because it is the longest from the next time I will see you again.
Why does time take forever to see you, but never forever when I am with you.

Tuesday is not as bad as Monday but not near enough to when I will hear you again.
Why does time take forever to see you, but never forever when I am with you.

Wednesday is a day of hope because I am half way to the day I will touch you again.
Why does time take forever to see you, but never forever when I am with you.

Thursday is joyful because one more day to go to the day I will kiss you again.
Why does time take forever to see you, but never forever when I am with you.

Friday is too exciting for me to cope with; all I have to do is fall asleep and I will hold you in my arms again.
Why does time take forever to see you, but never forever when I am with you.

Saturday I am finally with you but not as long as I had longed to be with you. I can not help but think before the day is over, I will miss you and long to be with you all over again.
Why does time take forever to see you, but never forever when I am with you.
