While Waiting: September 2023's Showcase Of PH Poems I Have Recently Enjoyed... :) Enjoy!

Yes, like MANY other P-H members, I'm sure, I'm ' WAITING ',
waiting for more poems like James McLain's on masturbating.
It's quite unique, I think, for its topic, in PoemHunter's history,
but I should 'search' for more, as, for now it is to me a mystery.

I don't mean masturbating [NOT masterbating] is to me a mystery,
but HOW MANY(?) poems I'd find here on the subject. I would see.
Ok, I found zero (0) poets, but FOUR poems on the subject 'at hand'.
I think I'll read all 4, and perhaps in this showcase some will LAND! !

Masturbating Through My Pain

Poem by Josiah Decker

I got bugs in my brain
They've making me insane
Running round pentagrams
Avoiding the churches holy lies
I'm doing Lucifer's dirt

My head is burning
I'm in pain, so much pain
It burns like hell
I'm not sure what I'm doing
But I know one thing
If I'm burning down, you'll be burning too

Everyone has a name for me
Angry, BiPolar, Psychotic
But if you looked hard enough in the mirror
Everyone would have a name too
I just know who I am
Pyro child
Devil Child
Problem child
Enough about me
It's not like you care

Masturbating Desires

Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

I can't stay away from you!
Even though you cheated...
Repeatedly on me
Then pleaded each time,
To find yourself back into my arms!
As if they do not ache from the thoughts
Of you shaking your ass like bait!
Foreshaking any doubts...
Discourage I prowl and sniff you out!

Whatever sweetness that you have...
I want that sweetness bad I am raging,
With passion like a bull!
It drives me mad with jealousy.
Inviting fantasies of you out there hunting...
Anyone
Willing to buy my sugar!

As I can't stay away from you,
Or the view of you seductively receiving
Me!
Masturbating desires in your mind!
I wish you'd give up that time for us,
Sometimes.

Waiting For Poetry

Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

I shall die now
And no one will remember
As my words expire
And fall like autumn leaves
Silence is all I can give
But you would say NO
Then, you realise I was right
As I dreamt my verses floating
Throughout the world
Into the sky
Onto everyone's lips
I shall perish into the realm
Only to lie in the coffin
Waiting for poetry to bring me back

SPECIAL NOTE: I already gave James McLain's Why Do
People Masterbate [sic] a 'plug' and *****, BUT, above, I
ALSO promised 'no more masturbating-topic poems in my
September 2023 Showcase, so if you want to read his poem
you will have to find it elsewhere.: (

The Nothing I've Become

Poem by Clyde UrMom

Once I was a flicker, a flame ablaze,
With dreams that soared, in myriad ways.
But life's tempests, like relentless drums,
Whispered their secrets, and left me numb.

I wandered through valleys of forgotten dreams,
A desert of shadows, where hope splits at the seams.
Each step a reminder of what once I could be,
Yet lost in the void, I struggled to break free.

The vibrant hues of life, faded and gone,
Replaced by a grayness that lingered on.
Ambitions withered, like petals in the wind,
Leaving me hollow, an empty vessel within.

I lost my voice, in silence I drowned,
A symphony of thoughts, but no sound.
The echoes of my past, a haunting refrain,
As the nothingness consumed, my spirit waned.

And My Heart Feels Heavy Again

Poem by Rusha Manandhar

Had it not been you,
I'd never make this breakthrough,
With your uplifting and your trust,
I achieved everything in a just.

Once, we were best of friends,
Swore to never let this end,
Our friendship was all so true,
My heart aches, missing you.

Smiles always accompanied us,
A perfect you for me, a wuss,
We, together vanquished all our pain,
But now my heart feels heavy again.

When the flower was blooming so well,
One after another the petals fell,
There I sat, all so clueless,
Contented with hunch I was blessed.

When I flew so high around,
I failed to look at the ground,
And hence I lost my dear friend,
So precious, to an unnoticed end

AND MY HEART FEELS HEAVY AGAIN

Speak To Me, Moon..... [speaking To The Moon; Fantasy; Humor; Very Short]

Poem by Bri Edwards

Speak to me, Moon, of what you see.
Oh! I forgot; you CAN'T see. Pardon me.

Then speak to me, Moon, of what you hear.
Damn, you are deaf also, Moon. How queer!

Ok then. Speak to me, Moon, of what you feel,
as you gaze down on our cities of concrete and steel.
What's that you say, Moon? You don't like what you see.
Well, I didn't build them, so please don't blame ME! ! |

[cont.] he didn't think the 'masturbation' poems were well done, and that 'many females' and some males (readers) would be embarrased to comment. Hmm? So be it. He suggested that I remove the 'M' poems. No way will I do that. ;))
