What I Wish To Do Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

What I Wish To Do

I wish to paint
On the canvas of life
Splashing colors of the rainbow
With sweeping brush strokes
Of love and happiness
Joining past and present
Ever so smoothly
With no visible divide.

I wish to play music
On the bagpipe
Of this body
Imitating nature's
Babbling brooks
Songs of birds
Sounds of breeze
And roars of thunder.

I wish to dance
With this body of life
Full of energy and
Strength of the limbs
In synchronous movement
With waving leaves
And waves of the seas
In total harmony.

I wish to open
My beating heart
And create poems
Of colorful splashes
Of rhythmic joy
Of graceful movement
Reflecting nature
And all its beauty.

Go ahead fellow Poet and paint, dance, play music and write more poems. Wishes do come true if you truly believe in them. Set your goals in life and pursue them with great anticipation. Please read Top of the Mountain which relates to your poem. Very inspiring write.
