What do you think this poem is about?

......We meet people all the time....

We meet people all the time
Rich people with nothing
Poor people with the world
Kind people
Not so kind people
Funny people
People who think they are funny
People who laugh at other peoples pain
People who change the course of our lives
People whom we change their direction
Inspirational people
Caring people
Intelligent people
History tells us of people who create World misery
And the ones who end it
People who charm the socks off us (while we are wearing our shoes!)
People who steal our affections
People who give us undeserved affections
All the time we meet people

Wouldn’t it be nice if this poem didn’t label them though?

    yeah that would be nice
    not to label any one
    but i would label you
    as 'SO SWEET AND
    KIND AND CARING'

    Remember the last person.
What was it that drew your attention?
Was it just a passing glance?
    Or perhaps just by chance
    There was something unique
    That your attention, piqued.

    And did that other one
Perhaps note that your were someone
    That was worthy of attention
Causing a bit of suspended animation
    To be remembered as
    An individual of class.

    All those about us need
    To be recognized, instead
    Of being passed by
Without so much as a hi.

    A tip of the hat
    (Remember hats?)
    To one as a greeting
    Or of moment fleeting
    Where each and all
Are given a chance to recall
    The pleasantness
    Of a gentle caress
    A look, a smile
    Nothing to beguile
But just a way of saying
    It's great be passing
    And share a moment
    Heaven sent.
