Through Eyes of a Pessimist
Why do you people hope?
Its something that's keeps us alive, they say
Hope kills,
Destroys one's chances,
It makes one mad, not knowing the truth
It tells people,
To believe on something,
Which would never happen, nor cherish!
Its a mirage,
A greener place,
Its a flame, where flies would effortlessly die
Waste of time,
A lump in the throat,
A reason for eternal dissappointment,
A way to decieve,
By faking smiles,
Trying to Console the grieving mind!
So people,
Dont hope,
See whats real,
Or ignore me and let the hope make you fail

Poet's Notes about The Poem
Hope is the only thing that keeps us going. But for a pessimist, even hope is badluck. So how does he view such a beautiful thing as Hope?

Not bad, but........ The word `eye` is bit confusing, a sight or vision might be a better replacement,
2ndly missed proper punctuation, as it clears the meaning,
Anyhow an erudite piece,
Shall i drop a hope on your eyes
Can I wrap my courage around your arms
Should i maybe to tell you we shouldnt give up
Anyway if you let light to enter your heart, let it be
Let it be and let it be
May your eyes may see
Unseen image before now, you used to be
Still have time my dear, still have time be clear
Always there is a door open if you want to escape
because when you enter a space it was open
and the same door will be open
When you wanted to get out
Return to the root
the innocent and light
where your eyes got the sight

Yes. Let us always hope for the better! We are all living in Hope! A nice poem indicating that for a pessimist even hope is ill luck.! !
