Surrender Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Surrender

Rating: 4.0

In the luxury of darkness
I fall on your lap to dream
About part of life that’s is gone
Where the lamp of happiness flickered dim

Worries, woes and pain killed
The happy hours we should have
The curse let me walk like a mouse
When I should have acted brave

No faith and honesty worked
Fate turned me sort of a joker
My hands never had the lines
To pull me out from a destined seeker

I could never get the fragrance
Of a man sent to succeed and shine
Blames and stabbings what I got
Never could enjoy what was divine

I may have few years to dream
And days of dark shadows stand in files
A light of success has not yet been lit
And there is darkness ahead for miles and miles

Sad poem, but beautifully written.

Don't surrender! This melancholic tone is depressing! Think that you have many more years to dream and there is sucess ahead for miles and miles!

In the luxury of darkness a try to sustain hope though it ends in hopelessness.
