Second Chance at the dance

Hell looked up at the heaven
Saw my soul-One in seven
I proceeded to escape
Fear freighted my suitcase
I trampled over white lace

Bound between two dots in time
Would divinity redeem my fine?
Memory a lasting stained floor
Would affinity reclaim my soul?

Ring, my soul, the bell’s chapel love
Which from high the tower above
Ever sounding with hope its trace
To all extends its watchful grace

The universe by love was made
All by kindness the wind swayed
Who are we for love to show?
Mercy and goodness to all below

Life, the merciful and the good
Freedom the gift, the gift’s food
To make our path safe and secure
Lit the light, the day that’s pure

Ring, my soul, the bell’s chapel love
Which from high the tower above
Ever sounding with hope its trace
To all extends its watchful grace

“Sing my soul the wondrous love”
My heart from its soul above
Ever sounding with hope its trace
To all extends its watchful grace

I

Our life is twofold; Sleep hath its own world,
A boundary between the things misnamed
Death and existence: Sleep hath its own world,
And a wide realm of wild reality,
