Roses are red, and violets blue.
Phyllis binds us, as if she were glue.
It's hard enough, as we get OLDER,
to 'keep in touch', Shoulder to Shoulder,
since SO much does distract us...from GHS,
like sleeping, peeing, naps, &...I, Bri must confess,
electronics galore e.g. TV, 'tablets', and P. Computers.
No longer is it our Little League, Scouts, bikes & scooters!
Don't even suggest that classmates are still "active in beds",
BUT have no doubts that "some" have 'Visions of SEX' in our heads.

Humour is what will keep us all young and your poem has humour with a twinkle in your eyes and keep on smiling as at any age we can all have fun! Thank you for the wonderful comments on my poem...Fragments...
You're in exalted company Bri. William Blake wrote 'The Visions Of The Daughters of Albion.' Sheena's my Phyllis and she's organising a reunion of the class of 1970 T.S.H.S. for next year,2019.

A great write! Humor, frienship and good old fashioned face to face communication in a world sailing by us. Keeping up those friendships a worthwhile endeavor. We should all have a Phyllis in our lives.
