Treasure Island

Natalie Lavender

(07121984 / Salisbury)

The Roses Died
Along With Happiness
The Red Soft Petals
Now Sharp And Worn
Tear Apart These Lovers Scorn
Wait Until The Dust Settles
Before I Make My Move To Mourn
The Flowers Now Departed
Left Me Broken Hearted Before Dawn
Awoke To Find Them In The Sun
An Easy Light Reflects Upon
The Shimmer, Then It was Quickly Gone
Vanished, like a dream
