I like the abruptness of this- -it conveys uncertainty. Good job! (Report) Reply

That's so beautifully put. We all fear what might happen. We all are scared of getting hurt. The opportunity might be good or bad, we can only know by opening the door.10 (Report) Reply

If there is pain or danger outside and if someone knocks just for a shelter, it is humane on our part to open the door for him! The dilemma is intensely felt here!

Thank you Ali for your sweet comment on my 300th poem!

Knocking may indicate pain outside. To open or not to open is the question. Nice poem. (Report) Reply
