Waiting for the clouds to pass away
And hide behind the darkening horizon
Waiting for the stars and moon to rise
Waiting to say good bye to the setting sun

Waiting for the cool wind to blow
And give solace to my sorrowful mind
Waiting for the darkness to arrive
Waiting for God to love me and be kind

Beautiful poem. The choice of words and phrases makes it exquisite. The phrase "pass away" meaning "die" is used in such an innocent manner in the first line.. but,
