Only Words....! Poem by Yasmin Khan

Only Words....!

Rating: 4.8

There was dark and despair in the castle of life
When moon peeped through a skylight in light so bright
And words came floating on beams of silvery light

I never thought words to be a soothing treat
When heart and mind seek a loving retreat
Those words can weave a wreath to greet!

When words sing like reeds in winds
Phantoms of distress demons of chagrin
Fly way and lulling sounds freed, unpinned
