Notes Of A Depressed (Part-III)

If they don't respect
Why should I?
I don't know how you can expect
From me to live such a life
Yes, you make me dissect
My skin with a knife
You have to accept
That I'm not that perfect or nice
I don't know what's your aspect
You keep telling me you care.. *hmph*.. lies
Stop right there
Don't want to hear any words
Stop making these stupid swears
They are just so absurd
Telling me everything will be fine
Stop! I'm just being subvert
You stabbed me from behind
You are making me hurt
In my life I need sunshine
But every time I'm just unheard
I want to be heard
I've raised my voice louder
Enough I have suffered
I am not a coward......

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Know'st thou not at the fall of the leaf
How the heart feels a languid grief
Laid on it for a covering,
And how sleep seems a goodly thing
