No More Boredom

Bored I am
Terribly bored
How do I get
Out of this hole?

I sleep like a bear
Loudly do I snore
When I wake up at noon
Eyes can't face the glare.

I must change now
I know it inside
It's not easy, but
I'll keep trying.

Long formed habits
Don't seem to go soon
I'm now determined
To be an all new person.

Boredom's only
A self-made thing
Interest I'll develop
In all new things.

An elderly person like you determined to be so must be a great motivation for youngsters. A poem that enlightens and educates. (Report) Reply

Some people constantly complain of being bored! They never look around or relate with others.... Around us are umpteen things to engage our interest and attention! What is needed is a mind to change our attitude. A sweet poem with a warning and a positive resolve! (Report) Reply
