Monsoon Time
It is dark now
And a cool wind is blowing
It will rain for sure
The sun is no more glowing
Time for farmers to
Plough the fields and sow
To have a good yield
Now clouds are hanging low
Ponds and wells are
Full and streams move fast
There will be joy in
The village till the rain lasts

Though rains play havoc with our routine, they are always welcome. Despite the fact that in many parts of India, it has caused heavy floods and landslides and substantial damage to properties. A few lives have been lost too. Still we love rains

Yes, heavy rainfalls provide a great joy to villagers as they irrigate lands and grow crops and vegetables. Moreover, contineous rains enrich the health of flora and fauna! A beautiful poem.
