It matters not how moves the world
Since you have gone away
For turning, as it turning does,
Turns not my night to day.
The sun may shine, the moon may glow,
Each in their due return
It makes no difference to my eyes
If each should glow or burn.
The world may spin around its tilt
Or orbit through its space
It matters not, for I am lost
Without your warm embrace.
May all the stars forever shine
The universe expand
It matters not how moves the world
If I can’t hold your hand.
Yes, nothing really matters after that, I know. I have no words to tell you how incomparably and delicately you expressed your most inner feelings. I could hardly write after reading this. A sad pearl, like a tear drop, always to be remembered. S.
Val, this is so touching, so beautiful and serene, so poetic, so full of emotion and so moving. The feeling of loss is so normal. Sometimes society wants us to be happy all the time, but it is good to live through all our feelings. Let our feelings come, live through them, and I am sure that writing poetry like this one is helping you living through the feelings. I could really connect to this poem.
It matters not how moves the world If I can’t hold your hand. Powerful words to express inner feelings.
Dat by day, month by month, year by tear, the world turns and the pain slowly eases. But your poem says it all Val.
May time heal your wounded heart and sweet memories fill their place. You write of it with a greatly touching sincerity. Your work is simplistic and of rare beauty. Please continue
I have an idea of what you feel, but each relationship has it's own special times, I wish you a thousand smiles.
Hope this mood of yours is transitory! Let it give way to one of resignation, acceptance and slowly one of cheerfulness! Powerful Expression of poignant feelings! !
It might not matter, but don't take it personal. If nothing matters don't let it bring you down. Take care, ric

Your pen causes me to feel a loss... and my loss is for words that will adequately describe the beauty and deep emotion you express in your writing... touché dear poet
