In Those Moments - Poem by kanav justa

As I close my eyes when I am alone
To understand the thoughts of mind
Thoughts like seeds which once were sown
As days of my life I rewind

ache my soul only to find
to seek answers of question hard
About friends enemies or beings unkind
Who shattered my own boulevard
Only for a moment though
More wiser than the pope I think
sourness of this pitiless world
Like a prize of wine I merrily drink

We only are good, when we try to think
At times inside we try to look
Like a drowning ship that time does sink
That fades away like a waning brook
We curse ourselves for sins we did
And think of bad what others do
Unhuman traits in those moment hid
That seeks for life for us anew

Life that’s clean, where we are good
Where friends are loved so are our foes
Where we know we have understood
Secret of love that slowly grows

To heavan, those moments they link
When eyes are clean, clear is the view
But it does not matter what we think
The things that counts are the things we do

Sadly those moments when die
The pleasant self of us is gone
We tend to forget the things we learned
Hatred seeds once more are sown

To solve our own actions and mixed up feelings of pain that is all so real, when friends fail us, we then fail ourselves, by allowing their negativity to consume us and destroy our joy and to look at the world with wonder and love in our hearts to give the best of ourselves is all we can do!
Loved this deep and powerful write! (Report) Reply

It is in those moments that we come to know ourselves deeply and openly. They help us to focus on our present and improve our future. When a person lives with their heart, they live in love and it is impossible to do wrong coming from that beautiful place within us. We see the world as a very beautiful place and all it's inhabitants as sisters and brothers and we treat both the world and our brothers and sisters in a loving way, which in turn fills us with great joy and adds to the love within so we have even more love to give. An excellently crafted and expressed poem. You provide a beautiful picnic basket of food for your Guest (reader) to dine upon and digest, in this thought provoking write. I have enjoyed reading your poem very much, Kanav and I, thank you for sharing it with me today. Reading it has made me even more aware of how important it is to know myself and to ensure that each day I live has In Those Moments in it for ME! Blessings... (Report) Reply

Self introspection leads to self correction and renewal! The tragedy of human life is the absence of love! When our hearts are filled with love, peace and joy emanate! But as we are frail, again hatred and jealousy, pride and arrogance find their way to our hearts! Repeated efforts for renewal can leave us good human beings! Enjoyed your poem, Kanav!
