I Know

I know a place,
Where troubles melt away.
I know a place,
Where it’s fun to stay.
I know a place,
Where it’s safe to be.
I know a place,
Where I can get carried away.
I know a place,
Where no bullies will follow.
I know a place,
Where I can be myself.
I know a place,
Where uniform don’t matter.
I know a place,
That is my sanctuary.
I know a place,
Where I can be me.
I know a place,
Where I sit and free to think.
I know a place,
Where no one will laugh at me.
I know a place,
Where my looks and hair don’t matter.
I know a place,
That no one can take from me.
I know a place,
Where I live, laugh, cry, write and sing

The place I know is my bed room!

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
