I Get Age Spots...[ Another Sign Of Old Age? ]
I Get Age Spots
I get "age spots", age spots galore.
I get age spots "ceiling to floor"! !
You KNOW what I mean, DON'T you?
I'll get lots more, lots more than just
‘a few'.
I get them where no one else does.
I think I have them due to my old age,
NOT "just because".
At first there were only three or four,
but as time went on, I kept finding
more & MORE!
They seem to appear when least expected;
On my hands is where they are easily detected.
LARGE freckles is what they remind me of. [Are
they from Hell, …or "from up Above"? ? ]
I believe I first found one 2 years ago. They then
disappear as water, down a stream, may flow, silently.
Light to dark brown, sometimes nearly pink they are.
Unlike fingernail cuttings, age spots can't be kept in
a jar.

Ha! Were you expecting to remain young for ever? As Geeta Radhakrishnan Madam said the freckles and pigmentations are sign of aging, but they are spots of wisdom. So don't worry about them.
An interesting and entertaining poem. I laughed when I read the ultimate stanza.
Age - related skin changes can not be avoided. Wrinkles and the appearance of age spots are indeed inevitable to old people. But sometimes we get those skin problems even if we are not old if there is constant sun exposure..
