Half Moon Delight Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

My gaze fixed
On a cloud
Dark
It looked
Hazy
Around it.

Half moon ejected
Out into space
Half light spread
Around me
Only to be
Swallowed
By another cloud
I didn't notice it
Before.

Game of
Hide and seek
Followed
For half the night
Delight it was
Doubled and doubled
My sleep
Cut into half.
