Half Moon Delight - Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

My gaze fixed
On a cloud
It looked
Around it.

Half moon ejected
Out into space
Half light spread
Around me
Only to be
By another cloud
I didn't notice it

Game of
Hide and seek
For half the night
Delight it was
Doubled and doubled
My sleep
Cut into half.

Gazing at the moon lit sky is a joy. We don't mind forgoing our sleep even! Nicely put! (Report) Reply
