Farewell To Love
Sunrise and sunset on
clouded thoughts and on
bended kneel.
Cupid must have shot
strong but wrong.
Now farewell to love, for i
shall cry no more.
I liberate myself from thee,
and the ache you inflict.
Farewell to thee and to all
thy misery.
I rather dine with solitude and
enjoy the peace it gives.
Than in your present with
clipped wings and fettered feet.
