Dear Younger Self,
Dear younger self,
You are amazing in every way.
Don’t forget that.
People will tell you that you’re a loser.
Don’t listen to them.
Don’t go out with your friends to parties.
One night something will happen.
Something that will make you do horrible things;
It’s not a lifestyle.
Quit it when you can.
I am trying for you.
When you see your brother, Eddie at the Christmas party in 2011, tell him you love him and not to do anything stupid.
He’s going to kill himself in April, so be prepared.
Admit what happened to you earlier in life.
You know what I’m talking about.
Cause one day, it will be too late and you could have stopped your sister and best friend from being hurt.
Don’t blame yourself.
When you meet Denny in February 2013, don’t give him anything.
He will hurt you over and over.
Don’t meet him on March 15th to see Warm Bodies.
Don’t kiss him in the theater.
Don’t let him borrow your things.
He doesn't deserve it.
Don’t meet Brent or Brett.
Don’t lie to everyone and tell them you’re fine.
Tell them how you feel.
They want to help you.
Accept the help they want to give.
Don’t turn away and get further into the darkness.
You just need to keep your head down and carry on with life.
Your 16 year old self, Hannah.
