There they were three Date Palm tree.
They were there waiting to be killed for committing no crime to mankind. but for meeting It's starvation for space. They bore tasty little fruits, I loved them a lot to eat and gave my friends as treat. In winter they gave us juice, so sweet! so warm! and I would keep waiting for winter to come.
There they were three Date Palm tree.
Though they didn't Vex those three men with axe. they came and fell them down one by one. They axed them into pieces when other pieces dried.
There they were three Date Palm tree.
No one did cry no plants, no human, not even I only a few weaver birds chirped, whirling over our heads encircling their nests fallen on the ground which rested there on top of the tree little while ago.
There they were three Date Palm tree.
I wished, I get the nest which was intact than the rest, rested beyond my reach at the tip of the fallen tree. It was so beautiful to look! I wanted to decorate my room. I tried, but soon I cried 'ouch! ' a pointed leaf of date tree pierced my leg, I restrained. But a man of those three soon came with a knife chopped and punished those leaves and fetched me the nest. I rewarded him with a smile.
There they were three Date Palm tree.
The weaver birds chirped whirling above, perhaps cried as I was carrying the nest. How nicely they've woven the nest! I was thinking and 'wow! 'I exclaimed, there were babies inside!
There they were three Date Palm tree.
Young were so lovely, so cute, I touched them softly, took them on my palm with care, much care, lest they fall and die. 'Death? ' I feared 'No I must save them' I thought myself 'I must help thee'.
There they were three Date Palm tree.
Soon I rushed to the man sought for his help again. I wanted him hang the nest there in the branch of a coconut tree near. 'It won't be that easy to save them dear ' he said as he thought for a while. But lastly he did what I wished.
There they were three Date Palm tree.
He climbed the coconut tree, I knew for me, threw the other end of a rope where I tightly tied the nest. Gently, carefully he took it to the top he tied the nest there in the rib of a coconut leaf. the weaver birds still whirled chirping, I thought now they laughed.
There they were three Date Palm tree.
