Confidence Poem by Shahzia Batool

Confidence

Rating: 4.3

Go
anywhere else in the world
if you can,
but listen
you can't cross
the boundaries of my heart
as your smile is synonymous to life
your person has the warmth
of summer in the dead cold of winter,
the one, whose bonding is gaining grounds with me
and the roots are getting deep and strong!

The poem explores a theme which though has been touched by many but not this way. Confidence is synonymous with trust, when u trust a person u are confident that nothing would go wrong. You would be with them forever. Much appreciated Shazia!

The growth of bonds and strength of enmeshed emotions as fondness becomes love and beautifully written here.
