whack fol di daddio... she found a fine young laddio, and wishing on a falling star fell head o'er heels...danced on the bar..... heavy with child, she was, and he stroked her belly....saw that she had a bun, not his, in oven... .he was kind, gentle with his lovin'.... he sang to her in sweet, clear voice... 'The First Time' often was her choice... he drank his whisky from a jar.... told her of his fair land, afar, where he'd left a woman, dear, to bring his songs 'cross sea, to here, where redwoods reach to touch the sun as time spins tales and rivers run... the two shared comfort in his bed, his Ridgeback, Harvey, laid his head upon their feet.....nights, sad and sweet.. they held each-other's dreams awhile... she'll not forget his wistful smile until her life is at an end..... ......her winter-into-summer friend.......
delilah contrapunctal.... yes, that's how I intended to spell it.........
