And Then You Understand

O'
I thought this suicide language
Was just a catalyst
For a beautiful, confident, memory

O'
How strange to recall that
With a grin.

Hm.
I think I see you
Counting your ABCs
Trying to make sense of it
As if
Where your tongue is
Is not your mouth
O'
I guess a sigh is in pattern

If you keep measuring the years
By the length of your scars

Hm-
A disease they say
They say I am a disease

Of this worlds theatre in which we stay,
My love like the spectator ydly sits
Beholding me that all the pageants play,
Disguysing diversly my troubled wits.
