Well, they calls me a fun-lovin' so'n'so.... wind blows in one ear....out t'other does go
Don't care if the weather is cold'n'it freezes... just as long as my blue jeans, they keeps their creases
Rode to the hills on the back of my mule... took along my dawg'n'my trenchin' tool
Wore my old raincoat with the buckles on it.... did carry a bee, kept him in my bonnet
Wrote a tune or two..played 'em on my lute... hooked up for a while with an ol' galoot
Well, the rest of the story is 'bout this'n'that.. and some time it may slip out from under my hat
Oh, I will say this, things was mighty pretty....
(gotta save some stuff for another ditty.....)
delilah contrapunctal.... yes, that's how I intended to spell it.........
