A TRIBUTE TO PERRY COMO
AND HIS GOLDEN VOICE!
(1912 – 2001)
(I – Sample Song) : -
“Catch a falling star and put it in your
pocket, -
Never let it fade away!
Catch a falling star and put it in your
pocket,
Save it for a rainy day!
For love may come and tap you on the
shoulder, -
On some starless night!
And just in case you feel you must hold
her, -
You will have a pocket full of starlight!
(Repeat refrain …) ”
(II) : -
“Take a wheel as it goes round, round,
round, as it spins along, -
With a happy sound!
As it goes on the ground, ground, ground,
Till it brings you to the one you love! ”
(III)
“Don’t let the stars get in your eyes,
Don’t let the moon break you heart!
Love blooms at night in daylight it dies, -
Don’t let the stars get in your eyes and keep
your heart for me, -
For someday I will return and you know you
are the only one I love!
Too many nights, too many stars, too many
moons to change your mind!
If I am gone too long, don’t forget for you
belong, -
When the stars come up remember you are
Mine!
Too many miles, too many days, too many
nights to be alone!
O please keep your heart, while we are apart, -
Don’t you linger in the moonlight when I am
gone! (Repeat refrain…) ”
