A Splendid Discovery

Somehow we are inspired by the same things
As we dance to the music of Jamiroquai
Romantic feelings are surging out of this world
A breath of fresh air brings new memories
With the sun and the sky and the flowers blooming high
We kiss and it's like soul jazz magic
And our minds connect with the elements of funk
Poetry in motion is what music represents
In the hearts and souls of the people
The genius that is love
Should not be taken for granted
When you give me a little tug on the heartstrings
I just want to dance for all eternity
I am destiny and you are fate
We form a tight bond
A bond so tight
Nothing or no one can break us apart
We fly
We ride
We die together
And in dreams unknown
Whatever they may unfold
There shall be a splendid discovery along the way.

Poem of the Day

poet Robert William Service

Just Home and Love! the words are small
Four little letters unto each;
And yet you will not find in all
The wide and gracious range of speech
Two more so tenderly complete:
