A Moment to Last with Thee
My world moves as thy feet delve
into a mute musician's song;
It melts into thy tongue
as you kiss me with a poet's line,
a fainting renaissance of a love benign.
Intensely, my world revolves
as your hand gently holds my soul.
Tenderly, it burns in thy bosom,
a sacramental fire consumes
my imagination's desire
as my body arches into love's pave
and aches in love's romantic wave,
my world hastes never to waste
a moment to last with thee.
A clay sculpted in thy dreams,
my world flinches in thy fingertips
meeting each sensation of thy touch;
it faintly moves as thine eyes reach
the deep horizons joining
the rhythmical classic by elusive tones,
never to fade away, never begone.
Endlessly, my world sails
in thy ocean of tears...
floating in calm dead waters
only to drown in thy pulsating blood over my lips;
kissing tulips till petals leap
in fierce seduction of holy myths
for a moment to last with thee.
A feather to a stone,
my world crushes at thy chest,
forsaking paradise blest
only to create my own paradise
inside the glamour of thine naked eyes;
Dearly, my world lays untouched
as thy shadow covers my sleeping flesh
of candid lace cordially entwined
by corpses of my memory;
I am reborn, enliven by the envy of thy poems
written on the lines of my face
never to fade as beauty fades in years
but melts with every moment
I long to last with thee.
