A Friendship Kit

A friendship kit can never be purchased
Neither be sold, nor be replaced
Because everything that comes with it
Holds value in every bit

So pick your friends who are dear
Mix in them some love and care
And add kindness in them too
And be always honest and true

Then put them in the friendship test
And let them take it with zest
Then whatever comes out of it
Store it in the friendship kit

For everything that is given to you
By a friend really holds value true
Because a friend is an extension of you
Without whom you feel incomplete too.

Happy Friendship Day! ! !

Seema you have shown incredible wisdom in you newly written poems, I have never read a nicer poem on friendship than yours. No one has described friendship in a more decent manner as you did; Coleridge just said “Friendship is a sheltering tree” really it is priceless commodity, it can’t be purchased, it can’t be replaced, and there is no substitute of friendship. The whole poem is a smart portable pack of wisdom, the last lines are matchless:

A friend is an extension of you
Without whom you feel incomplete too.

As I feel friend of Seema, I'll send greetings in return. However loneliness has to have been a problem for our this friend. She tells about it kindly, with style. (Report) Reply

The poem flows naturally like the friend's love and concluded wisely:

Because a friend is an extension of you
Without whom you feel incomplete too.

Good poem on friendship...like a good menu. Once friendship happens, when it is true, the souls meld automatically and both start thinking the same way. In love and marriage also this must happen.(pl. read my poem FRIEND)
