A Flying Movement

Started from down below,
With dreams to get higher.
Filled with imagination; No more hollow,
Each step increasing desire!

No need to hide anymore,
No more holding back.
Have to leave this floor,
And never come back!

But this is a flying movement,
Some or the other day it will go down.
So let's enjoy this movement,
And cherish what we found!

Had the wings from the start,
But never used them before.
Deep inside the heart,
Always knew there was more!

Just needed an opportunity,
Just a little bit of lift.
Filled with a lot of feisty,
Just trying to fly swift!

But this is a flying movement,
Some or the other day it will go down.
So let's enjoy this movement,
And cherish what we found!

I like the metamorphosis from a larva form into a butterfly and the progression made as it pushes to take flight. That is in essence 1 part of the journey of this life =) Nicely done! (Report) Reply

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
