A Beautiful Redemption - Poem by Ian Jobst

A life is lost while lost is life
a new order at a cost
sacrificial lamb of strife
so came to be that on the day
he climbed up sky and clouds of grey
one love to mother
pure surety of mothers love
vultures of heaven a mourning dove
a streak of white piercing the black
the world ends with no boom or crack
within hearts of nurturing care
the lands are silently swept bare
no bang, nor whimper, nor sigh, nor sorrow
what's there today is gone tomorrow
death rules all
for all rule death
