1.

Sharp pins and needles
My arm has fallen asleep
I rub, forcefully
But there is still a poking
...

2.

A flowing river
A fast current
Sweeping me away
No end in sight
...

LOVE!
LOVE!
LOVE!
Not Leave! Leave! Leave!
...

Death is a cloud, so far away
At first you think that it could never hurt you.
But it suddenly turns gray.
A bitter, ominous gray.

I thought and feared it came to me
Through the forest deep and dark
A journey on which no one'd embark

Burdened with falsehood
In the end, will truth prevail?

Death
You are the reaper of souls
The black shadow of the lost
The absence of life, of light

Oh, History
You assist us
You tell us what to do, and what to avoid
What to repeat, and what to leave be
...

I do not know, should I sustain
All the thoughts inside my brain?
Or should I instead abstain
From all the darkness, all the pain?
...

Alone
In a room
A room of no organization
The room of my mind
...

A hummingbird flies quickly through the air
Cacophonies of blue jays in the trees
Nearby a summer tanager does stare
A feather floating softly through the breeze
...

I have always feared you
But in time, I realize that you are not all bad
You are truly fair and just
Some say that you take more than you give
...

I see a tree, barren and gray
How long has it stood?
No one can say
...

Sharp pins and needles
My arm has fallen asleep

But there is still a poking
