When two spouses should share responsibility,
but one does the work of not 1 or 2, but 3....,
the "one" someday may finally realize....
it's time to turn around & open eyes,

Off you drive, you big, blue-attired, hungry cop,
with your siren & lights on, to the doughnut shop,
…so like a farmyard pig to a trough of porcine slop.

Each Wednesday I go to the library (almost without fail) .
I go not to use the computers, …..nor for a book sale.
I go before it opens to the public, for two or three hours.
I'm let in through the front door, which is bordered by flowers.

I help my wife deliver lunches to......people in our town.
The meals today are colored mostly white and brown.
I think the diners are disabled.....one way or the other,
and can’t or won’t fix their own meals, as happened with my mother.
