Sitting on the grave of my mom
Looking at a beautiful picture
Of her face that is no more.
Bones have turned to dust.
But her kind and loving care,
still so much alive in my heart;
the endless beauty of her soul
caressing the inside of my chest
Her silent prayers small and big
through eternal ether, ringing in my ear
Coming from the deepest depth inside,
Conferring serendipity and strength
Your love for God, your love for dad
Your love for sis and me
Every day it fills my being
I let it multiply.
Though mother is no more yet her love is memorable and incomparable. Dear Zophy you have astutely and touchingly inscribed this poem on love. The last stanza is more impressive. Beautiful poem.10
