Waiting Poem by Ally White

Waiting

Rating: 5.0

I sit waiting
hoping things will get better
doubt consumes my being
with the knowledge that only those
who want help receive it
So I sit waiting
expecting the worst
hoping for the best
watching all I know fall to pieces
Wishing all those little pieces
one day will fit back together again
So here I sit
Hoping, waiting, wishing
