Angel Wings Poem by Ally White

Angel Wings

Rating: 5.0

I carried you on angel's wings
Round the corner or so it seems
Was there with you through it all
Even when you didn't know it at all

I carried you everywhere
Down the long road to who knows where
I've always cared for you
Even though you never always knew

I carried you when you were hurt
And fallen and covered with dirt
I picked you up onto your feet
And gave you strength when you were weak

You never see me anywhere
Whether by travelling by road
Or flying through air

Cause I'm your guardian angel
Looking after you
Being there to help and comfort too
I'm always going to be near
Just because I always care
